Software Engineer

We’re a fast moving startup bringing quantitative measurement technology to musculoskeletal healthcare.

Right now, technology is doing almost nothing to help physiotherapists to assess their patients. Our mission is to change that. We’re looking for smart people who want to work on interesting technology from our London based office. We’re a small team so you’ll get to have a huge impact on our products. You’ll be working to deliver new products and features, helping us improve our existing codebase and working closely with the founding team. You’ll have the chance to contribute to the direction of the company’s technology and to help build our engineering team going forward.

  • Right now we’re a small team of engineers with backgrounds across medical technologies

  • We’re open, friendly and enthusiastic and have a passion for using technology for the good of the world
  • We’re hiring our first software engineer outside of the founders to take a key role in developing our first product

The role

  • Extremely interesting problems to solve every day (you’ll have the option to jump from computer vision, to biomechanics modelling to data science and signal processing)

  • Chance to be involved in clinical trial design to prove the real world value of what we’re building

  • Contributing across our whole stack from desktop to server to front-end web

  • Conducting code reviews for other team members

  • Unit and integration testing

  • Developing clean maintainable code

  • Professional development including regular dev team meetings to share learnings/feedback and challenge team decisions

  • To be able to take initiative and explore new ideas

You must have

  • An engineering, maths or science degree with 2 years experience

  • The ability to learn fast

  • A passion for interesting technology

  • Systematic approach to thinking through potential problems

  • A sharp focus on what delivers value, not the fastest or prettiest algorithm

You may have

  • Used object oriented programming languages in the past
