About your hamstring
The hamstrings are a group of muscles and tendons at the back of the thighs that attach the thigh muscle to the bone.
There are three hamstring muscles:
Semitendinosus
Semimembranosus
Biceps femoris
The hamstring muscles help you extend your leg straight and bend your knee.
