Mid - Senior iOS Developer

We’re a fast moving startup (and an alumni of the world's leading startup accelerator - Techstars) developing technology to change the way that we assess and treat patients with musculoskeletal conditions.

At any point in time around 70% of people are trying to recover from serious injuries like falls, torn acls and even joint replacements while technology does nothing to help. Clinicians rely on eyesight and self reported measures to plan treatment. (Statistically you should know how it feels!)

At Vitrue Health we're using the latest in computer vision technology to provide quantitative and accurate data to improve clinical decisions and bring a data-driven, predictive and preventative healthcare model to physiotherapy.

Come join our growing team of 9 driven and talented individuals from a diverse set of backgrounds. You'll work with everyone in the team from development to clinical to the founders. You can help us change the way that we assess and treat musculoskeletal conditions for everyone, everywhere.

🧑‍💻 About the role

We’re looking for an iOS Engineer to join our team in building a new product from the ground up. We’re using the cutting-edge in iOS technologies, from depth sensors to ARKit and Vision framework, to measure and analyse complex biomechanical movements. Our codebase is written in Swift and our minimum OS target is iOS 13.

You’ll be working in a friendly, dynamic and agile team to address some of the biggest healthcare challenges, driving key architectural decisions throughout development of new features, while accommodating a growing user base and supporting multiple domains (elite sports, orthopaedics, preventative health screening.)

We think the best products are made in highly collaborative environments, so you’ll be actively involved in product development and iteration within a cross-functional team from UI/UX concept work to clinical validation and implementation.

You’ll have the opportunity to work with internal and external clinical partners to ensure clinical excellence in everything we build, and industry leading biomechanics experts to validate our technology and ensure gold standard accuracy.

🕵️ What we're looking for

  • 3+ years experience with iOS development.

  • Able to use Instruments to profile, diagnose and address performance issues.

  • Good understanding of Computer Science fundamentals.

  • Passion for building great user experiences and advocacy for the iOS HIG.

  • A love for solving problems.

  • When you see something not working, you'll flag it and be part of the solution.

  • A great communicator with the ability to translate complex to simple, bringing your ideas to life.

  • Mission-driven and care about positively impacting the lives of billions.

Don’t worry if you don’t have all the above and a degree isn’t required either. If you’re an iOS Engineer looking for a great team and challenging problems to solve we want to hear from you!
